Where Am I?

More than a few of my clients have experienced something akin to an out-of-body-experience lately. And there is nothing metaphysical about it.

It comes from a combination of “The Noise of the World,” the pace of life, and the unusual demands currently made upon us.

It’s a disorienting feeling causing us to ask questions like: What day is it? What am I supposed to be doing? Where am I?

The questions might sound silly, but more than a few of us have felt them.

The good news is we’ve all felt this way or thought these thoughts, if only for a moment.

The other good news is you have the power to refocus and re-energize yourself.

There are two habits that I and my clients have used successfully:

  1. Remind yourself why you do what you do by setting a reminder that pops up every 2 hours. Maybe it’s about your job: career growth, enjoying your profession, providing for your family, receiving consistent income, etc. Or maybe it’s just about you: your long-term health & wellness, being able to enjoy your environment indoors & outdoors, participating in community events, etc.

  2. Create and post your Intention for the Day: Peace. Drink more water. Make 3 sales. Breath. Complete Phase 1 of Project X. Call 2 associates in my network to say “Hi.”

Thoughts and feelings can and will become circular, if you let them roam freely.

Refocus. Re-energize.
